Styled after salmon smolt!
Before salmon make the journey back to the spawning grounds as adults, they make the same journey downstream as juveniles. I spent many nights when I first got to Alaska counting salmon smolt through fish traps. I think the downstream journey is equally as impressive as the adult runs.
